Our Labor, Delivery, Recovery (LDR) Suites give you, and your family, greater comfort and privacy. Everything happens in one location – so you do not have to move from labor room to delivery and back again. If needed, an operating-delivery suite is just steps away for cesarean deliveries or other procedures. Our anesthesiologist and certified nurse anesthetists are on call 24 hours a day.

Should your delivery require special attention, you will find state-of-the-art care right here at Grenada Lake Medical Center. Our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is ready for infant emergencies with specialized nursing care to 24-hour ventilator capability.

"Suite Baby" childbirth care begins the minute you make your private "Suite" Reasons appointment with our certified childbirth educator. You will discuss birthing options, tour the maternity unit and receive a complimentary copy of the best-selling book, "What to Expect When You’re Expecting" and Anne Geddes’ "Baby Record". To help with breastfeeding, our childbirth instructor is a Certified Lactation Consultant; the only one in this area.

We offer classes in Prepared Childbirth, Baby Care, Super Sibs, Infant Safety, Parenting, Sensible Sitters, Breastfeeding, Dad's Class, and Grandparenting.
